HARP (Home Affordable Refinance Program) 2.0 is available for those homeowners who's Note is owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac prior to May 31st 2009.

If you are unsure that your home loan is owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, I can do the research for you to check. The benefits to the program are:
  • Can miss up to 2 months of mortgage payments
  • Offers no monthly mortgage insurance even with the loan to value over 80%
  • No appraisal needed in some cases, will need to run your loan request through DU or LP to determine this
  • Can have a 2nd lien on the property that will need to be subordinated
  • 30 year fix rates are still very low on this programs as well as the 15 year term, if you have a 30 year term explore the option to refinance down to a 15 year
Know your options before you stop making your mortgage payment, there are options. There are still over 2 millions home owners who can take advantage of this program before it is set to expire on December 31st 2015.

The HARP program is an opportunity to refinance into a 15 from a 30 year, fix your rate from the adjustable you have now or start paying principle and interest to your mortgage verses the interest only payment.

I welcome to discuss your options of a HARP 2.0 home refinance at 909-503-5600.
