Our Refi experience with Canopy Mortgage and Nathan Rufty in particular was an excellent event. After receiving approximately 75 mailed pre-printed postcard generic offers to Refi our existing VA mortgage over the prior six months from lenders all over the USA, we received a hand written letter from Nathan Rufty at Canopy Mortgage. Canopy's letter did not quote a "guessed monthly estimated payments without even knowing my score, the balance of my current loan, or my desired loan amount, etc. Our main concern was we wanted to close quickly so there would not be a late mark on our credit. We closed in exactly two weeks from the application date, which enabled us a two month grace period before our first new mortgage payment was due. We were kept informed of our loan progress on a daily basis. Seriously.... No Baloney..!
